Rugged coastline of the Ovens park , where gold was once mined.

The fin, pilot, mink and humpback whales do, at times, come close enough to touch. They are joined by dolphins, ocean sun fish, giant blue fin tuna and leatherback turtles. As well, bird watchers alert for puffin, razorbills, terns, black guillemot, petrels, shearwaters or gannets. A large population of seals enjoys sunbathing on a reef.
