Lunenburg Folk Artist

Cyril Hirtle lived all has life in Kingsburg, Lunenburg Nova Scotia at what is now known as Gladee's. He started painting in his 70's and became well known for his creative style and imagination. I thought it would be fun to show some of the history of Gladee's beach house and the people that used to live there.

Cyril loved trying to get a smile or a laugh out of you. His sense of humour shows in his paintings.
